A couple of editorial cartoons have popped up recently that counter the messages coming from MAGA and right wing fanatics.
The one at the top sums up the Orange Menace’s acquiescence to his main handler in Moscow (though no one has explained to my why he keeps lying about Democrats wanting communism when he’s the tool of communism’s biggest proponent).
And the one below is what you refer to when anyone tells you no one in Israel ever called for genocide in Gaza.

The background on the one above:
In a TV appearance in April 2024, Israeli-American journalist and pundit Emily Schrader said, “I don’t know of anyone who is in the current Israeli government that would support any form of genocide.”
The receipts follow:
RECEIPTS
1. Major General Ghassan Alian — October 10, 2023
Head of COGAT, the Israeli military agency overseeing coordination with the Palestinian territories.
“Human animals must be treated as such. There will be no electricity and no water, there will only be destruction.”
He finished by telling Gazans that they had wanted hell and would get it. Earlier in the statement, he accused residents of Gaza of celebrating Hamas’s October 7 attacks.

2. Simcha Rothman — May 21, 2025
Knesset member and chair of the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee.
This was an exchange with Channel 4 News journalist Lindsey Hilsum, who suggested allowing Palestinian refugees to enter Israel.
HILSUM: “The children are your enemies?”
ROTHMAN: “They are our enemies.”
Rothman then argued that international refugee rules did not oblige Israel to admit people from an enemy population.
The cartoon condenses Hilsum’s question and Rothman’s answer into a single sentence, rather than a verbatim quotation.

3. Israel Katz — April 16, 2025
Defense minister.
“Israel’s policy is clear: no humanitarian aid will enter Gaza.”
In the same statement, Katz described preventing humanitarian aid from entering as a principal instrument of pressure against Hamas. He said that no preparations were underway to resume deliveries.

4. Michal Woldiger — February 25, 2025
Knesset member, Religious Zionism party.
“We will eliminate Hamas, cleanse Gaza of every potential murderer, and everyone there is a potential murderer.”
She made the statement at a conference in Eilat. The Times of Israel reproduced it two days later, attributing the original reporting to Arutz Sheva (Israel National News).

5. Bezalel Smotrich — May 6, 2025
Finance minister.
“Within a few months, we will be able to declare that we have won. Gaza will be totally destroyed.”
Speaking at a settlements conference in Ofra, Smotrich went on to describe concentrating Gaza’s population in a narrow area near the Egyptian border, while the remainder of the territory would be empty.

6. Itamar Ben-Gvir — August 16, 2026
Minister of national security.
“There are people there who are not worthy of life. They shouldn’t live. They’re not even people.”
Ben-Gvir said this during a podcast conversation with former Israeli hostage Rom Braslavski. He was criticizing the reduction in Israeli airstrikes and advocating targeted killings of 30 to 40 people in Gaza every night, including people who were not posing an immediate threat.
