Earlier this week Charles Booker showed up for a public television “Kentucky Tonight “debate against the MAGA-Trump-fluffer Garland Hale Barr IV (who takes on the “Toy Story” name Andy). Guess who didn’t show up (from Booker’s Facebook page):

Tonight was supposed to be the first Senate debate between myself and Andy Barr. We even held it in his Congressional District!

He is too afraid to face me, so just like his tenure in Congress, he is a no show.

Corrupt Andy Barr won’t show up for Kentucky, but I always will.

We already know Barr is a racist, homophobe, transphobe, suckup to the racist, sexist, corrupt, rapist, pedophile conman now squatting in a White House. Now we can add another descriptor to the GOP congressman from the 6th Congressional District: Coward.

Since Garland obviously is terrified of being in the same television studio with a Black man (and let’s face it, if you do a photo search, you aren’t going to find many of Barr with Black people in general unless it’s like one at the top of this post where they’re combined in the same frame), maybe Booker should try the approach Chris Rock and Bernie Mac used in the 2003 movie “Head of State.“
