I guess this is a diss on Kentucky doctors?

The image above appears in a Facebook post that includes this message:

The dispute is between the medical doctors (MDs) and an osteopath. Trump’s physician has a degree in osteopathy from some place in Kentucky.

So, of course, I had to look up who the doctor is and what school he went to (I use the word “he,” because the Orange Pedophile Rapist would molest any woman who tried to give him a physical exam).

And Wikipedia says the winner is:

Sean Patrick Barbabella[1] is a US Navy captain and physician specializing in emergency and tactical medicine. Since 2025, he has served as the physician to the president under Donald Trump.

According to The DO, the American Osteopathic Association’s digital website focused on the osteopathic medical profession:

Dr. Barbabella attended A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM).

So where in Kentucky is this college?

It isn’t.

A.T. Still University (ATSU) is a private medical school located in Kirksville, Missouri, with a second campus in Arizona and third campus in Santa Maria, California

We know Kentucky has a lot of shortcomings involving health issues. Just look at this map on U.S. life expectancy:

This is truly a reflection of an inadequate health-care system.

But we should only be dunked on when our healthcare profession is actually responsible for incompetence. Spread the contempt to the places that deserve it.

And even then, if you’re going to dunk on an institution, at least find out its reputation:

Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) once again leads the nation in the number of graduates who go on to practice in rural areas. That is according to U.S. News and World Report’s 2026 Best Medical Schools list. This is the third year in a row that ranked No. 1 in this category.

The school at least performs a service for people in rural areas. It should be commended for that. By describing it as “some place in Kentucky,” the Facebook poster shows he’s too lazy to track down correct information, too contemptuous of anything in “flyover country” (a quick look and the poster lives in San Francisco), and too snarky for his own good.

Not everyone has access to a Harvard Med School grad.
