Louisville GOP backs sexist soul-sucking Senate candidate

Just a reminder that the never-ending rot of MAGAt Republicans includes your next-door neighbors in Jefferson County. From Louisville Public Media:

The Republican candidate running for a state Senate seat in a special election in South Louisville stands by a 2018 blog post that says “millennial females” aren’t “wife material” and described the “vast majority of young women” as “promiscuous skanks” with no moral compass.

Calvin Leach is a 35-year-old retired U.S. Army veteran, who ran an unsuccessful bid for the seat last year, and said he wants to focus on wrangling crime in Louisville. Leach wrote a series of articles in 2018 lambasting the department of educationonline censorship of conservatives and millennial women.

In a 2018 article and 2025 comment written on the blogging website Medium, Leach complained many women his age have overblown egos due to social media and complained that “betas” — slang for submissive men — are only feeding their need for attention.

His first article on the site is entitled “Why You Should Never Become Emotionally Invested in Millennial Females.” In it, he describes many young women as “promiscuous skanks,” “coddled americunts,” “party whores” and “damn sloots” — internet slang for slut.

In an interview with Kentucky Public Radio, Leach said the article is primarily dating advice. Women have an easier time in hiring thanks to their “aesthetic appeal”, and diversity, equity and inclusion has gotten out of hand, he said.

“It’s necessary not to become emotionally attached to anyone until you get to know them. That doesn’t relate to politics,” Leach said when asked if he still holds the viewpoints expressed in the article. “If you get emotionally attached too quickly, then you open yourself up for heartbreak. So that’s ultimately what I was saying.”

Surely, the local GOP hierarchy will get rid of this vermin (pictured at the top), right CJ?

The head of the Jefferson County Republican Party said the committee that recently selected Calvin Leach as the GOP’s state Senate District 37 nominee was not aware of a blog post he authored seven years ago that described women in vulgar and sexist terms.

Leach’s comments were “unfortunate,” Jefferson County GOP chair Don Fitzpatrick told The Courier Journal on Oct. 24. But the Republican nominee to replace former Democratic state Sen. David Yates in the Louisville South End district still brings a lot to the table, he added. …

In a since-deleted Medium post published in February 2018 and titled “Why You Should Never Become Emotionally Invested in Millennial Females,” Leach lamented his “encounter with the dating scene,” which had led him to believe “the vast majority of young women nowadays have a warped perception of the dating game and operate in it with no moral compass.”

Leach, now 35, at times referred to women in offensive terms, calling them “promiscuous skanks” who have been “put on a pedestal by society” and only date for personal gain.

“These girls are soulless parasites,” Leach at one point wrote. “Don’t walk away. Run.”

Let’s see that again: “promiscuous skanks,” “coddled americunts,” “party whores” and “damn sloots.” Of course, that doesn’t appear in the CJ story, since they “don’t want to offend” their readers. But sanitizing the total evil of what the Leach is saying the CJ is endorsing his language and performing a disservice to anyone looking to find out who has the moral integrity to serve in the state legislature.

And let’s point out another thing. The Leach (seen in its human form below) said women have an easier time in hiring thanks to their “aesthetic appeal”, and diversity, equity and inclusion has gotten out of hand.

The main beneficiaries of DEI programs weren’t Black people, weren’t Brown people, weren’t immigrants and weren’t LGBTQ. The main beneficiaries were White women, which are obviously the kinds of women the Leach wants to suck the souls out of.

But in the last presidential election, 51 percent of White women nationwide decided that a corrupt, rapist, pedophile felon was a better choice than a person who put corrupt, rapist, pedophile felons in jail. Had a majority of this group voted the other way, we would have been out having brunch instead of marching in the streets last week on No Kings in America day. There is no other group that did more to assault their own interests. If they had made a different choice, candidates like the Leach wouldn’t even be in consideration.

Looks like the Leach is going to stay in the race, because the local GOP isn’t going to get rid of him. Hell, it probably endorses what he says. Will a certain demographic continue to vote against their own interest this time around?
