Can we do anything for ourselves anymore? This video shows why the goal of corporate America, particularly tech companies, is to enslave us (we type on a computer that literally is watching us):
People can’t fix things anymore and are slaves to customer service when things go wrong, which in itself is transforming into AI madness.
For example: We recently ordered a couple of products from Amazon. The order said the delivery would arrive in hours, not days. Sweet.
A package is delivered within hours. Cool.
A photo confirming the delivery shows the package in front of a door:

Here’s the thing.
That’s not our door.
That door is not on our block.
That door isn’t on the surrounding block. That door is nowhere to be seen in a four-block radius. (We walked around to find it.)
So, what does a customer do?
Go to the Amazon website and say the package never arrived.
There’s no human interaction. An AI bot responds: Did you check with your neighbors?
We point out we have no idea what neighbor this could be, because this door doesn’t exist in our surrounding area.
The AI bot responds let us know if you don’t find it in two days.
We note that the reason we asked for the shipment in hours, not days. Two days defeats the purpose of the order.
No, “We’re sorry. We’ll get a new order out to you immediately.” Instead, we get, “Contact us in two days.”
Two days later: No package. Back to Amazon.
The AI bot says the package was delivered with another photo of a mystery door.
Still not our door. Finally, the bot asks: “Do you want a refund. Do you want us to reship the order?”
Refund, of course, since the item was needed two days ago.
We don’t deal with humans anymore. We deal with AI overlords that are incapable of providing customer service:
While they listen to everything we say.
While they watch everything we do.
While they control what we see in our feeds.
While they make it sure we can’t fix anything on our own.
What’s not to worry about??
