Want to keep your federal job? Call Kentucky’s state and U.S. legislators!

Jason Bailey

Louisville Public Media sat down with Jason Bailey, the executive director of the Kentucky Center for Economic Policy, to discuss how federal budget cuts (prompted by the illegal alien South African Space Nazi’s DOGE initiative) affect Kentucky.

The center recently created a tracker to follow the cuts.

Here’s the part of the interview that affects you:

You know, there are 23,000 federal employees in Kentucky, plus an untold number of other jobs that are funded by federal grants at universities, at other institutions and nonprofits, or contracts that are with private businesses. So we’re talking about many thousands of jobs that either have already been lost or at risk of being lost. But then there are ramifications for the services that are available. I mean, if you look at funding for the National Weather Service, the AmeriCorps programs that have 700 sites across Kentucky to provide education and public health. If you look at school feeding programs that have lost funding, you know, health programs, funding for research at universities, there’s a long list of stuff that’s been cut that, you know, impact us in various ways. And you know, I think that those those ramifications are also very significant, especially when you look at the whole picture.

Now, we know every Republican in our state legislature and representing Kentucky in the U.S. Congress is all for taking your job away from you. And be aware that state GOP sycophants know that Elon Musk, the ketamine-addicted Space Nazi prompting these cuts, is making sure the government sends billions of dollars to his companies, a good chunk of which is eventually going to go into his own pockets.

(If you’re MAGA and don’t see the blatant corruption, you deserve to lose your job. Just don’t come crying to us and saying you had no idea this was going to happen, because you were told. REPEATEDLY!)
