For anyone keeping track: We all know the “deadline” has passed to call a special election to fill out the remainder of the current term of “Weekend at Bernie’s” understudy, Mitch McConnell.

The general consensus seems to be, “who cares if he’s dead or alive? At least he ain’t voting.”
