‘No Kings’ in Louisville

Thousands of people gathered in downtown Louisville Saturday as part of the nationwide “No Kings” rallies.

Of course, our local paper’s coverage was less than ideal (the best it could do was run a bunch of photos that had the same caption), but that doesn’t compare to the Fox News headlines blaring such dumb shit headlines as “At least 1 protester arrested at ‘No Kings’ rally in Dallas.” Keep in mind that the Fox television affiliate in Dallas reported:

Thousands march in Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco at No Kings rallies

So, thousands gather in that city, but Fox screams about one arrest. Which means that while millions gathered across the country, Fox manages to serve Chumps for Trump a meal on one arrest to imply there was an unruly mob.

Which brings us to this photo from the Louisville gathering:

There were at least 3,000 demonstrations across America. We attended two rallies in Louisville.

The first was an indoor gathering at the Locals Food Hub and Pizza Pub on Broadway, featuring live music and a string of protest songs:

Then it was onto the main event near the courthouse and city hall. Here are some images, which include some NSFW posters:

(I especially enjoyed this tribute to our Quisling mayor, who has rolled out the red carpet for ICE agents to terrorize immigrants in this city. This is the kind of Democrat we don’t need.)

And people were creative with their signs. Like this protest umbrella:

It’s encouraging to see people standing up for decency against a regime led by a corrupt, racist pedophile.
