Kentucky lawmakers are starting to realize the Orange TACO’s big bullshit bill is going to leave a lot of people hungry, according to the CJ:

As Kentucky lawmakers start crafting the state budget ahead of the 2026 legislative session, questions of how they’ll handle recent federal funding cuts loom over the conversations.

One of those cuts is to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP.

Kentucky, which sets its biennial budget during even-numbered years, will now have to account for millions of extra dollars in SNAP funding after Congress made significant changes to it and other federally funded programs in House Resolution 1, labeled the “One Big Beautiful Bill.”

The problem, of course, is Kentucky’s state legislature is dominated by brainworm infested Republican MAGAts who don’t care if their constituents starve to death. So, expect to see a lot of starving families in the coming years.
