There’s an old saying: A broken clock is right twice a day. Here’s Kentucky’s U.S. senator, Rand Paul (via the CJ), who happens to be on time here:
U.S. Sen. Rand Paul criticized President Donald Trump’s upcoming military parade, which will coincide with Trump’s 79th birthday on June 14.
In an interview with NBC News on June 10, the Kentucky Republican said he has never been a fan of “goose-stepping soldiers and big tanks and missiles rolling down the street,” and he “wouldn’t have done it.”
“I’m not sure what the actual expense of it is, but I’m not really, you know, we were always different than, you know, the images you saw in the Soviet Union and North Korea. We were proud not to be that,” Paul said.
Paul added he wasn’t “proposing” that’s the image Trump wants to show, but he is still worried about the message the parade will send.
The parade, which also coincides with the Army’s 250th anniversary, will feature dozens of tanks, warplanes and 7,500 soldiers rumbling through the streets of Washington, D.C., according to USA Today.
I disagree with practically everything Paul does, but he’s right!
He sees that the flatulent senile TACO is an onanistic Kim Jong Un wannabe, who gets off on manly men with big guns. Commander-in-Chief Bone Spurs is wasting tens of millions of dollars while his fluffers in Congress get on their knees and say “Please, sir” (because everyone in his warped imagination calls him “sir”), “what funding do you want us to cut from desperate Americans so we can assist you in your camo induced happy ending?”
I’m glad Rand Paul is at least trying to throw ice water on this MAGA circle jerk.
