We were taking a stroll through the area this week and saw about 50 bald and burly guys in black and dark brown T-shirts strolling along Third Street on the UofL campus.

Kind of looked like a convention of Dean Norrises from “Breaking Bad.”

First thought was “is Homeland Security in town this week?,” since the flatulent orange TACO has put the Derby City under scrutiny for being nice to immigrants. But in a closer look, each Hank wannabe had a different logo on their shirt, representing various law enforcement agencies across the state.

Who knows what’s going on? Maybe a cop convention? Maybe a coordination session with ICE?

Anyway, it made us think of “Breaking Bad,” which reminded us of this “Malcolm in the Middle” parody from a decade ago:

Which, of course, was a parody of the “Newhart” finale:

Some say don’t be so paranoid and look for the humor in life.
