Giving props where they’re due

No one is going to point to the representative for Kentucky’s 4th congressional district, Thomas Massie, and say he’s a liberal. The guy was MAGA before “Chumps for Trump” decided to take on that banner themselves.

But he is the only brave congressman in the state and has led the charge to bring the “child rapist in chief” and his ultra-wealthy pedophile sycophants to justice by demanding the release of the Epstein Files.

So, given that, the current administration and its billionaire backers have decided to use their money to stifle Massie’s investigation. Here’s The Atlantic:

Of course, none of the other Republicans in Kentucky have taken a stance against the rich and powerful cabal that makes up the Epstein Files frat house, because they have been easily bought. Especially the racist, transphobic, homophobic scumbag Andy Barr in the 6th congressional district, who is seeking the GOP nomination for the U.S. Senate seat occupied by Orange Menace’s main ass kisser, Mitch McConnell.

The cowardly Barr punches down in his senate campaign with this bit of opportunistic cynicism:

As the father of two daughters, Andy has long championed the protection of women and girls sports. He cosponsored and voted for the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2025, prohibiting biological men from competing in women’s sports. Andy has been clear, there are two genders – God given, not doctor altered – and there should be no men in girls’ sports, locker rooms, or bathrooms.

Andy has also fought to prohibit taxpayer money from being used for gender transition surgeries on minors.

OK, Andy! You stand up proudly to attack children with your “no men in girls’ locker rooms” platform, so how do you feel about this?

Andy (you dickless wonder), what’s your stance on this pedophile in a “women’s locker room.”

(crickets)

I thought so.

(A side note: We call Massie the only brave congressman from Kentucky. We’re including the 3rd district Democrat, Morgan McGarvey among the profiles in cowardice, because he voted for a congressional resolution praising the racist, sexist, homophobic MAGA poster boy, Charlie Kirk. That’s not being a Democrat. That’s being a coward.” As much as I disagree with Massie, we prefer having him stand up for justice than listening to McGarvey weasel his way through another term.)
