And you thought the Ky. GOP was only sexist

Recently, Kentucky GOP officials showed they were sexist assholes by not immediately dumping a state Senate candidate who described women as ” “promiscuous skanks,” “coddled americunts,” “party whores” and “damn sloots.”

There’s no way they can top that, right?

The Republican Party of Kentucky says they are investigating a “vile” and “reprehensible” post made by the Hardin County Republican Party.

In a Facebook post, the Kentucky GOP stated that they are actively investigating a social media post by the Hardin County Republican Party on Saturday, Oct. 25.

A screenshot of the now-deleted video post in question was sent to WAVE and depicted both former President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama’s faces edited onto the bodies of apes.

Following the removal of the video, Hardin County Republican Party Chair Bobbie Coleman released a statement on Facebook confirming that she was the one who shared the post.

And here comes Bobbie’s non-apology apology:

“I apologize for sharing the video and for amplifying offensive imagery of former President Obama. As someone who does not engage with racist tropes, I did not consider the underlying meaning that this video may have had. I am not racist and any suggestion to the contrary does not reflect my values or character.”

Translation: I thought sharing a scumbag racist image of Black people as apes was funny. But I’m not racist. Don’t you libtards have a sense of humor?

She didn’t say it, but the next line in her mind was probably, “I’m a Christian, so I’m forgiven.”

This is the Kentucky GOP at its core. Why doesn’t it change?

Because in the last presidential election, 64 percent of Kentucky voters, an overwhelming figure, decided that a corrupt, racist, rapist, pedophile felon was a better choice than a person who put corrupt, racist, rapist, pedophile felons in jail. Any bit of depravity is acceptable to them. Hell, if you look at the comments on the Kentucky GOP Facebook page, most of them defend the “Obama as apes” racism.

So why are Kentucky Democrats getting their asses kicked in practically every election they run in? The out of touch New York Times Editorial Board says the reason Democrats don’t win because, “The Partisans Are Wrong: Moving to the Center Is the Way to Win.”

But is there anything more centrist than a Kentucky Democrat? This state is down to only one Democratic member of Congress, and he doesn’t go out in the state to hold town hall meetings and explain Republican atrocities at a time when practically all GOP reps are hiding from their constituents because the Orange Menace told them to. Even though many of Kentucky’s residents are going to run out of food and lose their health care because of the Republican government shutdown.

And why is it that MAGAts are never told they should move to the center?

Because the center moves to the right every time Republicans win elections using racist, sexist, xenophobic and transphobic rhetoric. The idiots at the NYT are essentially saying “everything is moving to the right. Maybe Democrats should try a watered-down version of MAGAt hate.”

The Louisville and Hardin county GOP have shown what they stand for. They have no problem with their hateful minions.
