Kentuckians staged protests in Louisville in response to the flatulent Orange TACO’s effort to escalate violence in Los Angeles. (This update on California from CNN):

Things remained relatively quiet in the Los Angeles area this morning with authorities observing a handful of peaceful demonstrations, a law enforcement source involved in monitoring the situation told CNN.

All major law enforcement agencies within the Los Angeles area have command posts staffed and have been relaying information to each other about ongoing protests. Federal agencies have also been updating administration officials in Washington.

Officials remain on guard for any potentially violent demonstrations later in the day, particularly as some of the most violent demonstrations have occurred in the overnight hours, the source said.

About 300 members of the California National Guard are currently in Los Angeles following two consecutive days of protests over immigration enforcement action, Izzy Gardon, Director of Communications for Gov. Gavin Newsom told CNN. The deployment was confirmed by the Northern Command in a post on social media.
